You know I was thinking about this glorious campaign. "FREE HUGS" About this man who stood at an outside mall with a sign and just stood with anyone who wanted a smile or needed a hug. He stated "For every one person I hug, five people are walking by smiling, I do it too keep people smiling." And I thought just how great that would be if I were to do something like that. How much fun it would be, and how it could show my inspiration if I perhaps made my own video. But then it hit me.. a fifteen year old girl holding a sign saying free hugs. People would go nuts, Not only because I'm a "child" but because I'm a woman. I would be worried about men groping me, people mistaking me for being a prostitute and worse even kidnapping me. How is that fair? Just had me thinking.. maybe if more people do this it will make me feel safer. Perhaps I will hold a song declaring peace.. but frankly I don't trust our world enough allowing ME to hold that FREE HUGS sign.
