• My dad was in the hospital three hours away
• I didn't get any presents that I hadn't picked out months earlier.. each about five dollars
• I couldn't spend it with my family because my mom hates them
• We went to my neighbors for Christmas
• She kicked out her husband because he was drunk
• We had to take him to rehab
